For Advent, we ask our Lord to stir us up and come into our midst.

Finding connection in a disconnected world. Disconnected by pandemics – both viral and social – the Gospel invites us to connect with God and with each other..

The first Christians were afraid and uncertain after the crucifixion of Jesus. But Jesus, risen from the grave, surprised them with his resurrection, and invited them to imagine life in an entirely new way. We, too, are imagining life — and imagining church — in a new way.

Our Lord gives us grace that sends us to serve; gives faith that promises life; invites us to seek in him all our needs; shines light so that we can see; and reveals the promise of life on the other side of death.

God's Word comes to us this season overflowing with promises that prepare us for the mystery and power of the cross.
