Order Christmas Poinsettias

Deadline: Sunday, October 27

Help beautify our worship space this upcoming Advent and Christmas seasons by providing poinsettias. After the service on the 4th Sunday in Advent, or Christmas Eve, you're welcome to take your plants home.

All orders have to be in by Sunday, October 27.

Westfield Pride
Saturday, September 28

New Joy will once again share in the joy of Westfield Pride and bear witness to the affirming love of God.

How can you help?

The event runs from 1 pm – 6 pm. We have set things up with 3 hour volunteer windows (12-3, 2-5, 4-7). The front end window starts early for setup, while the closing shift will help with tear down. We'll have everything you need for the event. Just bring yourself, something to drink, and a chair (if you'd like.)

New Joy is coordinating with Lutheran Child and Family Services of Indiana/Kentucky, Inc. (LCFS).  LCFS is a non-profit social service organization founded in 1883 that offers both residential and community-based services to families and children.

How can you help?

We need at least four cars (usually 2 people per car) for deliveries on Saturday, September 18.  We suggest each car have a driver and an assistant driver (ie, a passenger who assists with directions, carrying food boxes, etc.).

On September 8 the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America celebrates a day of service.

How can you help?

Here at New Joy we will be offering at least two opportunities for service and learning - one at Lutheran Child & Family Service in Indianapolis, and one at Open Doors right here in Westfield.

Times is approximate. As we get more details about each service learning opportunity we will share them with the congregation. We hope also to add a third opportunity, which is yet to be determined.

Carmel Pride
Sunday, June 30

Share our Savior’s radical welcome and generous grace at Carmel Pride.

How can you help?

New Joy will once again support Carmel Pride with a booth and people to share the welcome and grace we receive from God for the good of our neighbors and community. Sign-up through Church Center to work a 2-hour shift, or simply stop by whenever you can.

Carmel Pride runs from 3pm-9pm at Carter Green (by the Palladium), We can start setting up our booth at 2pm, and will break it down starting at 9pm.
